Marcelle Joanne Felker Treat, 62, of Southbury, Connecticut passed away on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Marcelle was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on October 22, 1950 to Donald and Grace Felker. As the child of a Navy Veteran, Marcelle was raised in San Diego, California and Beeville, Texas. Marcelle was a very caring and active individual in the lives of her friends and family and was always there when anyone needed anything. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 46 years, James Treat of Southbury, Connecticut, her two children, James Matthew Treat of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jessica Ann Treat of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by her Mother Grace Felker of Seguin, Texas as well her brother Joseph Felker of Houston, Texas, sister Donna Felker of Corpus Christi, Texas, Anne Oetken of Longview, Texas, Elfie McMurren of Seguin, Texas, Kimberly Felker of Gonzales, Texas, and Tammy Ranft of Seguin, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials: Flowers will be accepted, but contributions to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, are preferred for further medical research in infectious diseases. They may be mailed to Philanthropy Office, Lahey Clinic, 41 Mall Rd., Burlington, MA 01805.

Visitation: Visitation services for Mrs. Treat will be held on Monday, July 1st from 4pm-8pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street in Woodbury, Connecticut.
