Lynn Charles Patrick, 80 passed away on April 23, 2023 at Trinity Health Care Center in Watertown. Lynn was born July 8, 1942, the son of Leila (Sherwood) Patrick and William Patrick. He grew up in Southbury and that would always be "home".

He attended the Southbury school system and then went on to become a machine operator until cancer forced his retirement. An avid reader, Lynn read the paper daily and if a good historical book was not in his hand, something pertaining to history would be on the TV, unless the Yankees were playing. He absolutely loved animals, especially his cat "Baby" and would patiently watch the bird feeders to see which birds would come to enjoy the seeds. Before his illness prevented it, Lynn could be found walking in the woods and enjoying nature. He found joy in the great outdoors.

Lynn is survived his siblings Ina Beardsley of No Carolina, Bill Patrick of Hawaii, Wayne Patrick of Morris, CT and Donna McKenna and husband Kevin of Watertown, CT.

Besides his parents Lynn is pre-deceased by his son Brian Douglas Patrick, brother Richard Patrick of Oregon, sister Darlene Patrick of Vermont and Marjorie Smith of Mass, Jacqueline Cernak of Mass., and Wallace Patrick of VT.

A graveside service will be held Friday May 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.
