Middlebury- Lynda Marie (Ruggieri) Worden, 68 of Middlebury, CT passed peacefully at home on March 23, 2023 after a courageous 10-year battle with Leukemia. Lynda was born in Norwalk, CT on August 30, 1954 to Robert Ruggieri and Lena Provencher Ruggieri.

Lynda leaves behind her beloved husband of 21 years Walter R. Worden, Jr. of Middlebury, CT, her brother Raymond Ruggieri and wife Marie of Hyde Park, NY, her nephew Erik Ruggieri and wife Diane of New Canaan, CT and her two beautiful great nieces Madison and Milania, whom she adored and deeply cherished.

Lynda worked in various careers over the years, including Pathmark, Southbury Food Center, Newtown Savings Bank, CVS, and Post University. Compassionate towards animals, she had a special bond with a chihuahua at Post University named Champ, who eagerly greeted her whenever she entered the office. She could often be found spending quality time with her beloved fur companions Oscar and Felix. She took great pride in her home and had a true love and passion for interior design and home décor. Lynda will be missed by the numerous friends she made throughout her lifetime.
