WOODBURY- Lucy DeRosa Arcovio, 97, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at River Glen Healthcare Center. She was the wife of Michael J. Arcovio, deceased.

Lucy was born on December 27, 1914, in Derby, CT to Maria and Michael DeRosa. Her and her husband, Michael, ran Arcovio Florist for over 50 years. In her life, she was also a member of the Waterbury Florist Association, the Connecticut Florist Association and Mother's Club of Fairfield University.

Lucy is survived by her daughter Susanne Zelno and her husband Bernie of Lake Ariel, PA and her son Michael Arcovio and his wife Merle of Thomaston, CT. She has two grandchildren, Adam Arcovio of Thomaston, CT and Rebecca Adkins-Cephas and her husband Dwalyiin of Queens, NY.

Lucy's funeral will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church 146 Main St. South, Route 6. Interment will be immediately after the mass at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
