Lucille Gianat, Age 84 died peacefully on November 21, 2017 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury, Connecticut. She leaves behind her beloved twin sister Barbara (Bobbi) Gianat and her spouse Barbara (Babs) Rachells as well as her cousins Jean Raymond & family and Robert & Alyson Vitale & Claire Vitale and family. Lucille is pre-deceased by her Father William R. Gianat, and her Mother Rose E. Berger. Lucille worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 38 years as a Legal Assistant in their law firm.  She retired and spent many wonderful years in her beloved Long Beach, NY overlooking the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean.   She loved the "sand, sun and the sea." She spent many winters in St. Petersburg, Florida, and had many long term friends there. Her last few years were spent in Southbury, Connecticut. Calling hours will be  held at Munson-Lovetere Funeral home in Southbury, Friday November 24, 2017 1:00P.M.  to 5:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury, Saturday November 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
