Luba R Braatz, 76, died unexpectedly on Saturday , December 5, 2020, at the nursing home where she resided for many years, Autumn Lake of Bucks Hill in Waterbury.

Luba was born July 14, 1944, in Germany, daughter of the late Petro Danylovych Radko and Paraskewja Pustowar Radko.  Luba worked as  a paralegal secretary since 1978. She worked for several years in Bridgeport and then worked for Carmody and Torrence in Waterbury until 2003.  She was a long time resident of Southbury until 2003 when she fell ill unexpectedly. She enjoyed traveling with her Husband, and time spent with family and friends. Luba was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and sister. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.

Luba is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Dennis Braatz. She leaves her three children, Peter C Braatz, David E Braatz and his wife, Lisa of Oakville, and Lysa B Fusco, and her husband Tony, of Watertown; nine grandchildren Austen, Amanda, Quade, Tanner, Noah, Garret,  Christian, Antonio, and Maximus; her nieces  and nephews,  Nicholas, Natalie, Melanie and Michael; her brothers, Anatole Radko and his wife ,Barbara, and Aleksander Radko and his wife, Judy, and her sister, Valentyna Bykowetz.

A special thank you to the staff at Autumn Lake of Bucks Hill for taking care of Luba over the years, and to Luba's work colleague and dear friend, Maryanne for her help over the years.
