Louise (Bignelli) Tatro died on Christmas Day, 2015. She was the daughter of Jon and Mary Bignelli and was born on October 8, 1925 in New Bedford, MA.

She graduated from Bridgewater State Teachers College in Bridgewater, MA with a BS in Education in 1947. She taught in the New Bedford school system for several years. She and her husband, Clifton Tatro, bought the Associated Teachers Agency in Manhattan and she ran it for fifteen years. She then got her realtor's license and settled in New Haven, CT where she worked for the Beazley Company until her retirement in 2006. She was active in charity work in New Haven.

She is survived by her daughter, Louise Tatro Botelle, two grandchildren, Peter and Sarah; a brother, Stephen Bignelli, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clifton L.Tatro of New Bedford, MA.

The funeral is private and at the discretion of her family. There are no calling hours. Munson Lovetere Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
