Louise Augusta Morgan, 79, of Naugatuck, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Eugene B. Morgan. Louise was born January 22, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, NY, daughter of the late James C. and Augusta (Restel) Powers. Louise was the executive assistant to the president and CEO for the Litton Potentiometer Division in Mt. Vernon, NY and retired as the executive assistant to the Director of Hospital at Doctor's Hospital in Staten Island, NY. Louise was an active member of the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, where she served on several committees and was the chairperson for the church's Clothier Thrift Shop. Louise was recently awarded by the Connecticut Women of the United Church of Christ in Hartford the honor of a Recognized Woman. This was an award for her many years of dedicated service to the church. She was past president of the Naugatuck AARP, a member of the Board of Elections and the Housing Authority. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a past Grand District Deputy for NYC. Louise loved to travel, read, cook and spend time with her family. Louise's circle of friends was as expansive as her heart. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jo Falcone DeBisschop and her husband David of Oxford; a son, Eugene B. Morgan II and his wife Aleksandra of Sleepy Hollow, NY; a brother, Joseph Powers; two sisters, Frances McGrail and Midge Coleman; 6 grandchildren, Morgan Falcone, Anthony Falcone, Jeanine Carollo, Jaime Battista, Derek Jay and Andrew Jay; 2 great grandsons, John and Jayson Carollo and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Karen Battista; a son, Thomas H. Jay; a brother, James Powers; a sister, Helen Revelese and a son-in-law, James Battista.

Services: Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11: 00a.m. at the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, 9 Division St., Naugatuck. Burial will be private.
Visitation: Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. North, Southbury, CT.
