LOUIS DANIEL TESTA

SOUTHBURY- Louis Daniel Testa, 84, of 108B Heritage Village, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Danbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ulla B. Testa.

Mr. Testa was born March 31, 1922 in Danbury, son of the late Carmina (Tartaglia) Testa and Theodore M. Testa. Mr. Testa lived in Danbury before moving to Southbury in 1985. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1940. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the 15th Air Force in Italy as a gunner on a B-24. He was a recipient of the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster plus several citation medals. Mr. Testa was a former service station operator in Danbury.

An Avid golfer, he was a former member of Richter Golf Course in Danbury, Western Hills in Waterbury and also played at Heritage Village Country Club.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Testa is survived by a son, Louis D. Testa, Jr., daughter in-law Joan of Naugatuck, granddaughters Tracy and Heather, two nieces, Linda and Marilynn. Mr. Testa was predeceased by five brothers and his sister, Yolanda.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
