Louis C. Suchenski, 95, of Tamarack Lane, died April 20, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Farro) Suchenski. During Lou and Evelyn's life they loved to watch and care for the wild life around the lake.
Louis was born November 4, 1919 in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Vincent and Anna (Piorkowski) Suchenski.
He graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1949 and was Baseball Captain in 1948 and 1949. He also graduated from Junior College of Connecticut and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He also played semi-pro baseball in Bridgeport on various champion teams. Louis retired in 1986 from the U.S. Department of Defense as an Auditor in Bridgeport after many years. Lou was a WW II Veteran having served in the US Army Air Corps from June of 1942 through December 1945 and was discharged a Sergeant. Louis was a member of the Oakville VFW.
Louis is survived by a sister, Irene Senak of FL, and a step-grandson Wayne Wahlenmeier who is active in the military and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church
Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 27th at 10 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 146 Main St. South, Woodbury.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere on from 8: 30 A.M. until 9: 30 A.M. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in New North Cemetery in Woodbury.
