Louis D. Cable, Sr., 92, of Waterbury died Friday, July 26, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Theodora (Pagano) Cable. Mr. Cable was born September 12, 1920 in Woodbury, son of the late Leslie W. and Grace Emily (Strong) Cable. Formerly of Woodbury, Mr. Cable graduated from Woodbury High School, Class of 1938. He served in the Army during World War II and then spent 40 years with the Uniroyal Rubber Company in Naugatuck. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. He is survived by his son, Louis D. Cable Jr. and his wife Barbara of Prospect; his sister, Doris Wight of Gainesville, FL; his grandson, Daniel Cable and his wife Cathy and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Cora. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Dorothy Vande Griek.
