Loretta Stilson Gillotti, 75, lifelong resident of Southbury, died Friday, November 17 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of the late Robert F. Gillotti Sr., to whom she was married to for 55 years. Mrs. Gillotti was born July 4, 1931 in Southbury, daughter of the late Merrit Stilson Sr. and Emily Coughlin Stilson Thomas. Mrs. Gillotti for 10 years worked at the Lutheran Home in Southbury as a nurse's aide and then for 6 years she was a dietary aide at Pomperaug Woods of Southbury. She also worked for many families as a private duty aide. Lorreta dedicated her whole life to caring for other people. She is survived by two sons, Thomas M. Gillotti Sr and Timothy A. Gillotti Sr., both of Southbury; a sister, Violet Ranslow of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Gillotti was pre-deceased by a son, Robert F. Gillotti Jr.

Services: Funeral services to be held Wednesday, November 22 at 11: 30 a.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
