Mrs. Lois T. Montville, 86, of Middlebury and Bradenton, Florida, died Tuesday November 6, 2007 at Crescent Manor in Waterbury. She was the wife of Walter G. Montville.
Mrs. Montville was born September 26, 1921 in Waterbury daughter of the late Russell and Edith (Richardson) Truelove. She worked for the Town of Middlebury and for the Waterbury Republican American Newspaper. She also worked as a Secretary for Vice and Intelligence at the Waterbury Police Department until her retirement.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Richard Montville and Jeffrey Montville both of Middlebury, a daughter Karen Albini of Middlebury, a brother Russell Truelove of Waterbury, two sisters Marilyn Hakli of Cape Cod and Florida and Shirley Rafford of Clinton, four grandchildren, Sam Montville, Christiana Sylvester, Shannon Montville and Jill Montville and two great-grandchildren, Donovan and Molly Montville.
A memorial service will be held at Middlebury Congregational Church on Friday November 9, 2007 at 11am. Burial will follow at Middlebury Cemetery. The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St., is in charge of arrangements.
