SOUTHBURY- Mr. Lloyd W. Stevenson, 85, of 721A Heritage Village, died Saturday January 13, 2007 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Janet (Jolliffe) Stevenson.
Mr. Stevenson was born December 25, 1921 in Pittsburg, PA, son of the late Lloyd W. and Esther (Parsons) Stevenson. He graduated from Westinghouse High School and had attended Carnegi Tech in Pittsburg. He retired from Uniroyal in Middlebury having been employed as a design engineer. He has resided in Southbury for 25 years.
Mr. Stevenson was a lifelong member of the A.F. & A.M. of Beaver, PA and was a 32 degree mason, having been a lifelong member of the New Castle Consistory, New Castle, PA. He was a WW II US Army Air Corps veteran.
Besides his wife of 64 years, he leaves a son Lloyd R. Stevenson of Flanders, NJ, a daughter Louise Stevenson of Nashville, Indiana, a sister Barbara Stevenson Bechtold of North Caldwell, NJ, two brothers, J. Richard Stevenson of Montgomery Village, MD and William A. Stevenson of Oregon, Wisconsin. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury
Services: A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9: 30 a. m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
Visitation: Calling hours will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. with a Masonic service at 3: 30 p.m.
