Linda L. Nelson, 72, of Woodbury, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home.

Linda was born May 1, 1938, daughter of the late Leland and Nellie (Dean) Nelson. She has resided in Woodbury for the past 18 years, previously living in Illinois. Linda was an accomplished artist having sold numerous prints and made calendars of her artwork for 30 years and was also known as "Linda Nelson Stocks". She enjoyed art and gardening.

She is survived by two daughters, Lori Naoumides of Watertown and Lisa Schofield of Colorado Springs, Co, two brothers, Mark Nelson of Elgin, Ill., and Gary Nelson of Arkansas, three grandchildren Alyssa and Zackary Naoumides and Tyler Schofield and four nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will be held in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, Ill.
