Linda Catherine (Falkenstein) Lillie, 57, of Watertown, died Saturday, March 28th, at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. Ms. Lillie was born in Wheeling, WV on April 4, 1951, daughter of Mrs. Mary (Rolston) Falkenstein and the late Mr. William Falkenstein.
She was a graduate of Rex Mundi High School in Evansville, IN and received her Bachelor's degree in education from the University of Southern Indiana. She moved from Indiana to Woodbury, CT in 1981 and was employed at the Southbury Training School for 23 years.
Ms. Lillie is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Falkenstein of Evansville, IN; her daughter, Megan Lillie and her husband Scott Nesbit of Atlanta, GA; and her son Brendan Lillie and his wife Serena of Newton, MA. She also leaves eight siblings, Charles Falkenstein and his wife Lou Ann of Colleyville, TX; Sister Theresa Falkenstein of Covington, KY; Michael Falkenstein of Evansville, IN; Phyllis Stinson and her husband Richard of Evansville, IN; Thomas Falkenstein and his wife Mary Jo of Evansville, IN; Madelyn Grayson and her husband Timothy of Evansville, IN; Patrick Falkenstein of Evansville, IN; Matthew Falkenstein and his wife Carrie of Evansville, IN; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Ms. Lillie was also the sister of the late William Falkenstein, Jr., who is survived by his wife, Linda Falkenstein of Stow, OH.

Services: A memorial service will be held at Nonnewaug High School, 5 Minortown Rd., Woodbury on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10am.
