Linda Ann Walker Lauer

November 3, 1942- June 30, 2025

Southbury- Linda Ann Walker Lauer, 82, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, in the presence of her family after a brief illness. She was the loving and caring spouse of Robert "Bob" E. Lauer of Southbury, CT.

Linda was born in Waterbury, CT on November 3, 1942, to Ronald Granniss Walker and Grace Parson Walker. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Linda and Bob have been happily married for sixty-two years and have two children. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She worked as an office manager at Surgical Associates in Waterbury for many years. Later, Linda enjoyed working as a skin care consultant and business office manager at Beaux Visages in Middlebury, CT.

Linda's greatest joy was raising her two children, Kristin and Mark, watching them grow into loving spouses and parents. Linda was extremely proud of her family and loved spending time with her four grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Olivia and Nathan.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert E. Lauer, her daughter, Kristin Pronvovost and her son-in-law, John of Woodbury, her son, Mark Lauer and her daughter-in-law Erica of Orange, and her grandchildren, Austin and Logan Pronovost and Olivia and Nathan Lauer.

Linda is also survived by her sister, Janice Duszak of Wolcott, several nieces, Deborah, Doreen, JoAnne, Bonnie and Laura, her nephews, Michael, David and John, as well as several grand nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her sisters, Grace and Marlene, her nieces Christine and Patricia, and grandniece, Jessica.

Linda was also blessed with a very close circle of friends, with whom she shared many special times throughout her life. Linda was a kind, compassionate and thoughtful person, always available to volunteer for a project in her community or help out where she was needed. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading and surrounding herself with the people she loved.

The family would like to thank the staff of Waterbury Hospital's intensive care unit for the professional and loving care provided during her stay.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, August 9th from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT 06798. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 am at Christ Episcopal Church, 2030 East Main St. Waterbury, CT. Burial will be held privately.
