Mrs. Lillian J. Whiteway of died peacefully Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was 92.
Mrs. Whiteway was born on Aug. 2, 1923 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Charles and Patricia (Andrulis) Jaxter. She worked at Summit Finishing Company in Thomaston as Chief Inspector of Finishing. She later went on to become a real estate agent whose dedication and creative talents made her a favorite of the very first residents of Heritage Village. She loved antiquing, traveling, gardening, dancing, crochet, needlepoint, golf and the Yankees.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Veronica and William Callister of Novato, CA and Susan and Carl Meister of Bethlehem, her sister Frances Paparazzo, her nieces Lisa Paparazzo-Sikowitz of New York, Janet Paparazzo of Woodbury, Robin Paparazzo-Chouvier of France, as well as her nephew Eric Paparazzo of Woodbury. She also enjoyed the company of her grandsons; Russell Meister, Jesse Callister and her granddaughter Leah Callister and her great grandsons Quenton Meister, Caleb and Dillon Callister. She was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Whiteway, her sisters Julia and Bernice Jaxter, her nephew David Paparazzo and her grandsons Gregory and Jeremy Meister.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Land Trust or the charity of your choice.

Funeral: Church of the Nativity
Services: A Catholic Mass will be arranged to be said for her at Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. A memorial service will be held for family members. Burial will be private.
