Obituary


Lillian Cunningham Radocchio, 84, of Woodbury, died peacefully Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her daughter and son-in-law's home with her family by her side. Lillian was born July 2, 1930, in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late William and Lillian E. North. Widowed twice, she lived most of her life in Watertown with her late husband Sherbert J. Cunningham followed by her late husband Benardino F. Radocchio.

The valedictorian and graduate of Sacred Heart High School, class of 1948. Lillian went on to become Branch Manager Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank until her retirement. She later worked for White Flower Farm, a place that she loved to spend her time amongst the flowers. She had a love of the ocean and travel, was often found crocheting, playing cards with her best friends and was best known for a kind heart, her sense of humor and infectious laugh. She leaves her three children, her daughter Susan Radocchio and her husband, Dino Radocchio, of Woodbury, her son Michael Cunningham, and his wife Carol Cunningham, of Woodbury, and her son Timothy Cunningham, and his wife Robin Cunningham of Watertown, and also her stepson Gary Radocchio and his wife, Michelle Morgan, of Woodbury; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Radocchio, Brityn Todaro, Jessica DeMarest, Heather Cole, Katie LaPointe, Leah Cunningham, Ian Cunningham, TJ Cunningham and Stephanie Roberts, and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, James S. Cunningham and her three brothers William, Robert and Bernard North. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends but will remain forever in their hearts.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 146 Main Street South, in Woodbury.

Visitation: Calling hours will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 12, at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT
