OXFORD- Miss Lauren Jane Farrenkopf, 48 of Newington , died Tuesday January 16, 2007 at UCONN Medical Center .

Miss Farrenkopf was born July 8, 1958 in Brighton , MA , beloved daughter of Mary (Frascatore) Farrenkopf of Oxford and the late Charles E. Farrenkopf. She resided at the Hartford Regional Center , Newington .

Lauren was a special child loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed music, her baby dolls and fun time with her family.

Besides her mother, she leaves four brothers, Bruce C. Farrenkopf of Reno , Nevada , Douglas E. Farrenkopf and Dennis R. Farrenkopf, both of Bethel and Jeffrey Farrenkopf of Virginia, s sister Cindy J. Farrenkopf of Medford, Long Island, NY, 10 nieces and nephews and a great niece.

Services: A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, CT 06478.Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, CT.

Visitation: Friends may call the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
