Southbury- Laurel Jean Zilinsky of Heritage Village in Southbury, CT, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Laurel was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Donald Vredenburgh of Chappaqua, NY.  She was born on April 1, 1963 in Mt. Kisco, NY. Laurel was the cherished sibling of her sister, Mary McGrath, and her brothers, Donald, Thomas, Robert and James.  We all loved Laurel and were in awe of her upbeat attitude and perseverance in the face of challenging life circumstances.

Laurel was beloved by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved Laurel's spirit and willingness to help so many people. Her laughter and quirky style echo in our own lives and always will.  Laurel brought warmth and laughter where ever she was.  A light has left this world. There will be no services at this time.
