Laarni V. Zawislak, age 45 of Oxford, CT, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was Born in Nasugbu Batangas Philippines.

She is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Zawislak, her cherished son Neil Ring, and Mother Leovigilda R. Villadolid. She also leaves behind her brothers Allan Oliva, Ariel Villadolid, and Albert Villadolid; sisters Lilian Johnson and Lea Powell; she also leaves many loved nieces and nephews.

Laarni was a beautiful, strong, and intelligent woman. She held a master's degree in electrical engineering. She worked as an electrical engineer, a software engineer, and finally a program manager for United Technologies Aerospace Systems. She was most proud of raising her son Neil who attends Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. and is on the baseball team there.

Laarni was very proud of walking 39 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer through the Avon39 Cancer Walk in New York City. This was her favorite cause.

Services: Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 2, at 11 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. S. Southbury. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation: Calling hours will be Thursday September 1, from 5- 8 P.M. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson Lovetere, 235 Main St. N.
