Kenneth Gerard Hebert, 68, of Middlebury, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2021. Ken was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Bastin) Hebert for 37 years. Ken was born August 26, 1953 the youngest son of the late Clara (Melvin) and Kenneth Hebert. He grew up in Plymouth, CT and graduated from Terryville High School.
Ken was a proud member of local 676/669 as a Sprinkler Fitter for MJ Daly until his retirement in 2007. His job in retirement was as starter at Western Hills Golf Course. He was a friend to many and will be missed by his union brothers and his golf buddies. He was a ruthless setback player and a beloved softball coach.
Ken is survived by his three daughters, Lindsay Wyant and her husband Dallas, Shannon Hebert and Brittany Hebert. He always loved being a "girl dad". He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved granddaughter Ashlin and his best buddy and grandson Colton, his brother Melvin Hebert of California, his nephew Richard Hebert of Ellington, CT, niece Kate Hebert Patla and her husband Craig of Madison, CT. He leaves a large and loving family of in-laws, nieces, nephews and grandnieces who he loved and adored. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Richard Hebert Sr.
Ken was a member of Christ the King Evangelical Church of Naugatuck where he served on the men's leadership team. His church family was very important to him. He previously attended the Thomaston Covenant Church for many years where he made lasting friendships.
