Mrs. Kathleen L. Hoyt, 49, of Woodbury died unexpectedly Wednesday March 11th at her home. She was the wife of Ronald Hoyt. Mrs. Hoyt was born July 16, 1959 in Brighton, MA, a daughter of Louis C. and Alice V. (McLaughlin) DeLuca of Woodbury.
Mrs. Hoyt was a loving and passionate person who was always willing to help those in need. She was a very caring and devoted mother and grandmother who loved working with children. She was a Doula as well as a volunteer for Safe Haven of greater Waterbury. She loved her garden, cooking for others and had a great passion for dancing.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by three sons, Mark Dummonski and his wife Wendy of Chicago, IL, Jonathon Hoyt and Liam Hoyt both of Woodbury, a daughter Casey Colella and her husband Mark of Waterbury, two grandchildren, Rocco and Madison Colella of Waterbury, a brother Robert DeLuca of Woodbury, two sisters Margaret O'Toole and her husband John Ewald of Vermont and Gayle Murphy of Woodbury and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church
Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 14th at 10am at St. Teresa's Church in Woodbury. Burial will take place in the spring in Old North Cemetery, Woodbury.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St., on Friday March 13th from 4 - 8pm.
