Mrs. Katherine Szabo, 79, of Southbury, CT and Lakeworth, FL died Saturday June 19th at Waterbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Lazar Szabo and mother of Denise Hahn and her husband Paul and Dr. Ronald Szabo and his wife Debbie. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron, Ross and Carrie and her sister Irene.
Katherine was a holocaust survivor who never let the bitterness of that experience sour her life. She was loved by her family and friends for her kindness and generosity. She touched all who knew her with her warmth and understanding.
