SOUTHBURY- Justine (Brenia) Dietz, 101 of Southbury, died Sunday, May 15, 2010 at the Watermark at East Hill Woods.

Mrs. Dietz was born February 4, 1910 in Olyphant , PA , daughter of the late Sava and Anna Brenia. She was one of the original settlers in Heritage Village and resided there for over 40 years, previously living in Scarsdale , NY . While in Scarsdale , she was member of the Scarsdale Women's Club and with her late husband, a member of the Scarsdale Country Club. Mrs. Dietz and her late husband traveled extensively after his retirement; she used to say that they touched every continent but Antartica-it was just too cold. Mrs. Dietz enjoyed sewing and spending time with her son, George W. Dietz, Jr. of Southbury.

Besides her son, she leaves a sister, Helen Wefer of Ormond Beach , FL and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her three brothers, Harry, Vladimir and Sandy and a sister, Sophia Petchler.
