Junette "Gumby" Barlow, 71, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her home. Junette was born June 18, 1944 in Torrington.
She is survived by her son, Gordon Joseph Barlow, Jr., her grandchildren Jonathan Barlow, Richard Kailukaitis, Kimberly Kailukaitis, Megan Leduc, Robert Kesson, Gordon Joseph Barlow III, and Sarah Barlow, and her great-grandchildren Alexandra Rose Leduc, and Leonidas Kailukaitis. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of forty-two years, Gordon Joseph Barlow Sr., her daughter Jill Kesson, and her faithful dog Spike.
Born in Torrington, she lived in Woodbury her entire life. She graduated from the Mattatuck Community College Nursing Program before embarking on a long, rewarding career as a Registered Nurse. In her personal time, she enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen, reading, and gardening. Above all, she loved her family. She was always willing to open her home to family and friends.
