June Marie Knapp, a 31 year resident of the Town of Southbury, died peacefully on February 28, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Susanna Kirkabee Lundvall and Russell Lundvall. June grew up in Ansonia Ct. June was a Graduate of Post University and was a 27 year employee at the Town of Southbury.

June is survived by sons, James A. Gilbert, Jr. and wife Leeann of New Milford, Russell Lundvall Gilbert and wife Kathy of Crandal, Texas; grandchildren, Clayton Young, Patric Gilbert, Russell Gilbert Jr. and Brandon Gilbert; a sister Donna Grossman, a brother in-law, Bill French, and several nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by a sister, Carol French.
