On Sunday September 12, 2021 our loving mom, June Jaykus, 85, of Woodbury passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home in Southbury.

June was born in Norwalk, Ct on April 7, 1936. She was the daughter of the of the late Charles and Sophie Dembroski of Norwalk, Ct.

She leaves behind her beloved children and family; Pamela Bell and her husband Edward of Southbury, Ct; Walter Jaykus and his wife Janet of Stamford, Ct; and Michelle Jaykus Peck of Bethlehem, Ct., her grandchildren; Bradley, Lauren and Brian Bell; Matthew and Samantha Jaykus; Jaime and Jack Peck; sister, Joan Stietzel of Danbury, Ct; several nieces and nephews, and most of all her furbaby, Jake. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Barbara Lane of Arizona.

June enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, coloring, game shows and being surrounded by family and friends.

Our family would like to thank CCC, her friends at Companions and Homemakers, and The Lutheran Home for her care.

A celebration of June's life will be held at a later date.
