JOSEPHINE MARY GREBOSKY


WOODBURY- Josephine Mary (Frasca) Grebosky, 90, of 428 Sherman Hill Rd. died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph Louis Grebosky.

Mrs. Grebosky was born August 11, 1916 in Reggio Calabria, Italy, daughter of the late Raphael and Rose (Macri) Frasca. She has resided in Woodbury since 1965. She worked at Dr. Phillips Milk of Magnesia in assembly. Mrs. Grebosky had also worked at several clothing manufacturers including: Rabuor Robes fabricating Army and government clothing, Arrow Shirts in Norwalk and Samson's Knitting Mills in Norwalk as a sewing machine operator, making sweaters. She also was employed by the former Betts and Betts in Woodbury and Southbury as a machine operator fulfilling government contracts. Mrs. Grebosky was a 4H club leader and a communicant of St. Teresa's Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and gardening. She loved her family and had fond love of animals.

She leaves two daughters, Lois Grebosky of Woodbury, with whom she made her home and Josephine Gribovsky of New Mexico, a brother George Frasca of Cottonwood, AZ and a sister Rose Andrus of Darien, CT, one grandchild and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Frasca and a sister Mary Reif.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 20th at St. Teresa's Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in New North Cemetery, Woodbury. Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until leaving for church.
