Josephine Flanders Clarke, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, at her home. She was born on April 21, 1941 in Amesbury, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Herbert A. Pratt and Pearl I. (Ellis) Pratt.

She was married to Stewart Clarke on January 9, 1988. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage and he will miss her deeply.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Douglas Faulds, of Jamestown, Rhode Island, and a son Robert A. Pratt of Rockford, Illinois. Josephine will be missed by her three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves a twin sister, Jacqueline Perkins of Henniker, New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews all of New Hampshire.

Josephine worked as a bookkeeper at Perkin-Elmer in Norwalk for over 18 years, then worked at  River Glen Health Care Center as a bookkeeper and in the human resources department for several years.

She enjoyed being on her computer, collecting and enjoying "Charming Tales" with her husband, and her dinners out with the girls.

The family would like to thank Sara and Jenna from Accent Health for all their compassion- the dedication and support they provided to Josephine was invaluable.
