Joseph N. Stammelman, a resident of Southbury, CT, formerly of Spring Valley, NY, died on May 26, 2024, joining his late wife, Nancy H. Stammelman.  He was 87 years old.  Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 1,1937, to Florence (Siff) Stammelman and Mortimer Stammelman, he was self-employed and the owner of Atmos Products until his retirement in 2008. Joe is survived his brother-in-law, Robert Hoffman and his spouse, Donna Greco.  He is also survived by his three adoring children and their spouses: Sally and Sam Mandelbaum, Jonathan Stammelman and Terri Sobol, and Bill Stammelman and Saunie Williams, and by his six cherished grandchildren: Jason, Danielle ("Danny"), Michael, Rachel, Bryan, and Sydney. Joseph was full of life and will be greatly missed by his family and will always be remembered for his strong family values, caring nature, sharp wit, and convictions.  Donations may be made in his memory to Quality Services For the Autism Community ("QSAC").
