Joseph A. Pietrorazio, 69, of Woodbury, died Saturday, February 3 at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Angela (Cossu) Pietrorazio. Joseph was born June 8, 1937 in Waterbury, son of the late Armando and Theresa (Bartone) Pietrorazio. He was a plastic injection mold designer and inventor, holding several patents. He owned and operated his own company, Molds, Inc. of Woodbury, from 1967 to 2004. Joseph was a member of the National Guard and a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Watertown. A creative and talented man, he loved gardening, landscaping, fishing, hunting, playing golf and the saxophone. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lori Carlough of Plano, TX, MaryBeth Cave of Glastonbury; a son, Thomas J. Pietrorazio of Watertown; three brothers, Raymond Pietrorazio of Middlebury, John Pietrorazio of PA and Jerry Pietrorazio of Watertown; two sisters, Rose Bushey of Watertown and Flora Jean Ciriello of Woodbury, 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas, Meghan, Andrew, Alex, Amanda, Gabriel and Nicholas Joseph; and his dog Bella.
