SOUTHBURY- Joseph M. Lynch, 75, of Southbury, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at River Glen Health Center. He was the husband of the late Sarah (Farrell) Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was born November 20, 1936 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Patrick and Margaret (O'Leary) Lynch. He has resided in Southbury since 1986, previously living in Bayonne, NJ. He retired from Union Carbide after many years of service, retiring as an export manager. Mr. Lynch was an active member of AA in Southbury for many years and loved playing bridge and enjoyed square dancing with his late wife.
He is survived by a son, Joseph M. Lynch, Jr., of Bayonne, NJ, three daughters, Jacqueline Halpern of Harwinton, Patricia Conheeney of Cranford, NJ, Jennifer Adkins of Lanexa, VA, two brothers, Brendan Lynch of Staten Island, NY and John Lynch of Monroe, NY, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Lynch.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 17th at 9 a.m. at The Church of the Nativity, 48 East St. Bethlehem.
Visitation: Friends may call the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North on Friday December 16th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
