Joseph Galvin, 94, of Woodbury passed on August 14, 2024 at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. He was born on July 27, 1930 the son of the late Edward and Mary Galvin. Joe was the husband of the late Nancy (Smith) Galvin.

Joe is survived by his son Chris Calvin, granddaughter Heather (Doug) Pemberton, grandson Jonathan (Dina) Galvin, grandson Jefferey Galvin, daughter Liz (Walt) Janczyk, grandson Dylan (Kristina) Nield, great grandchildren Gavin and Harper Nield, grandson Shaun (Becky) Nield, great grandson Austin Johnson Nield, son Will Galvin and grandsons Will Galvin Jr. and Jim Galvin.

He was predeceased by his wife Nancy and his daughters-in-law Barbara Galvin and Valarie Galvin.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home of Southbury for all the comfort they gave to Joseph.

Per Joes' request the family had a small private gathering.
