Joseph "Joe" Cappetta, 68 years old, of Woodbury CT passed away on June 12, 2016 after a short illness. Joe was born April 19, 1948 in Mt. Vernon NY to Joseph and Rose Cappetta. He attended Archbishop Stepinac High School graduating in 1966 and then went on the graduate from Gannon University in 1970 and was a member of Delta Chi fraternity. He worked for the Union Carbide Corporation for many years. He was an avid golfer, a woodworker and a fan of the NY Jets, but mostly he loved to spend time with his family and friends and was loved greatly by them.
He is survived by his children Amy Cappetta, Sarah Cappetta-Quesenberry and her husband Nicholas Quesenberry, Joseph A Cappetta and his wife Cheli Cappetta, his sister Susan Cappetta, former spouse Darleen Cappetta, and his "grand-dogs" Sammy, Tink, Lily and Kirby.
