Jonathan Thomas Hurlbut of Roxbury, died suddenly Sunday morning coming home from his weekly walk at Hurlburt Park. A ninth generation resident of Roxbury, Jon was born May 22, 1957 and would have been 57 on his birthday. He was a graduate of Shepaug Valley High School. He was employed at Design Circuits in Danbury in his early years and then worked as a handyman around Roxbury for many years. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Roxbury. He enjoyed eating out and loved the beaches in Rhode Island. He was predeceased by his father Alden Hurlbut. He is survived by his mother Elinor, his brother Peter and his wife Betty and their children. He is also survived by his sister Betsy and her husband Anthony and their children. He also has a half sister Gail and her husband Jim, and their children. He also has a number of cousins.
