John F. Webster, Age 90 of Heritage Village, Southbury died on September 27, 2015. He has survived by his deeply beloved wife Erika, daughter Alison of New York City, son Brian of San Francisco, sisters Edith Eggert of Tampa, Florida and Dorothy Buhler of Denver, Colorado.
A veteran of World War II, a graduate of New York University, Mr. Webster believed in social activism to build a better community, country and world. He believed that the only way we live after death is through the touching we make in our life with family, friends, community and work. It is our only meaningful legacy.
Over the years, Mr. Webster participated in many social, political and community efforts in New York City, Nassau and Westchester Counties as well as Heritage Village. He had a long career in magazine publishing.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers contributions could be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
