WOODBURY – With a heavy heart we announce the death of John Joseph Ogolik on Saturday, September 19, 2026. John was born July 12, 1931, in Bridgeport, CT to Steven and Sophie Ugolik. He is predeceased by nine siblings including his twin brother Henry.

John, a proud veteran of the US Army, was stationed in Germany for four years. After his discharge, he studied mechanical engineering at University of Bridgeport and worked in that capacity until retirement. His proudest achievement was working for Grumman Aircraft on Long Island for projects with the NASA space program in the 1960s.

John is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Anne (Martin) Ogolik, daughter Patricia, son John Jr and wife Dee, and younger brother Stephen.
