Joan Sturges, 92, passed away December 6th at Middlebury Convalesant Home, after a brief illness. Joan was the wife of the late Thomas K. Sturges of Woodbury.

Joan is survived by her children: Gilbert Angle Jr. "Jay" (Denise) and Leslie A. Davey and step-sons Jeff Sturges and Thomas Sturges Jr., she also leaves to mourn her passing her grandchildren: Ashley and Ryan McNally and Brendan Davey and Shannon Davey.

Joan and her husband Thom enjoyed many happy years in Fort Pierce, Florida, traveling and enjoying friends. They returned to Connecticut to be closer to family.

Calling hours for Joan will be held on Sunday, December 12th from 2-4 P.M. at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street, Woodbury. A Service will be held on Monday, December 13th at 11:00 A.M. at North Congregational Church,11 Main Street, Woodbury followed by a burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Watertown.
