Jill Aileen Nettleton-Jacobsen, age 46,of Woodbury, sadly died Sunday, November 16 after a brief illness. She was born May 1, 1962 in Danbury, Ct., daughter of George M. Nettleton and Eunice Voland Nettleton. She was a wife, mother and beloved friend to many. She enjoyed baking, gardening and decorating. Yet her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She sadly leaves behind her husband of just one year, David Jacobsen and three children, Michael Jason, Thomas Richard, and Courtney Dawn Kripal. She will be greatly missed by a large extended family and friends and six brothers and sisters, Tim Nettleton, G. Thomas Nettleton, Dawn N. Wilda, Bryan Nettleton, Dorothy N. Sperry and Matthew Nettleton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cemetery: New North Cemetery
Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury
Funeral: United Church of Christ
Services: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 19 at 11: 00 a.m. at the United Church of Christ, 283 Main St. North, Southbury. Burial will be in New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
Visitation: Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St.
