Jettabee Ann Christenson Edman, 79, of Heritage Village died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at her home. She was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin on January 2, 1933 to Otto Francis Christenson and Thelma Grace Hanks Christenson. The family moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where she attended Summit School. She pursued her BA in English at Brown University, studied art at the Rhode Island School of Design, and later received an MA in Counseling from St. Joseph's College. Jettabee (Chris) married Austin B. Caswell after college and later married Silas Ward Gould Edman with whom she lived and loved for forty years. They lived in Chicago, on Long Island, and in Brazil, Connecticut, and South Carolina. She was an accomplished oil painter and worked in retail as well. She was deeply insightful, interested in everyone, and loved nature,
music, laughter, and good friends.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Christenson Caswell, Austin Baldwin Edman, David Radcliffe Edman, and Silas Ward Gould Edman Jr. as well as their partners and children, Lisa, Louise, Cathy, Adriana, Samuel, Charles, Gabriela, Diego, and younger brother Gregory. She will be greatly missed.
