Jessie ( Angle ) Werner, of Heritage Village, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home. She was the widow of Gustave G. Werner, Jr. Jessie was born in Hayward, California, the fourth of six daughters of the late Jessie and Paul Angle of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. After extensive travel in connection with her employment, she returned to New York City, where she resided until 1972. Jessie and Gus then moved to Southbury. She is survived by one sister, Phyllis Briganti, of Southbury, a stepson, Gary Werner of Lake Stevens, Washington, several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. We would like to thank all those who cared for Jessie in her later years. Loved by her family and friends, she will be dearly missed.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury
Services: A memorial service will be held Monday, November 24 at 1: 00 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St North. Private burial will be held in Woodbury.
