Jessie (Mansfield) Morey, 98, formerly of Woodbury passed away on Saturday June 13, 2009 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury with her family around her. She was the wife of the late Steven Morey.

She was born March 14, 1911 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Olaf and Marjorie Mae (Mitchell) Rasmussen. She loved spending time with her family playing games, having picnics, knitting and baking. She was a wonderful friend to all who met her. She worked at Howland-Hughes and Seth Thomas Clocks and retired from the Watertown Convalarium in Watertown.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Brown and her husband Robert of Bethlehem, Nancy Labbe and her husband Robert of Woodbury and three sons, Morton Mansfield, Jr. and his wife MaryEllen of Garden City, SC., Richard Mansfield and his wife Sharon of Wolcott and David Mansfield and his wife Virginia of Aurora, Colorado, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Rasmussen and a sister Shirley Overton of Waterbury.

Services: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Bethlehem.
