Mrs. Jeannette R. Soriero, 87, of Danbury died Sunday August 19, 2012 at Pope John Paul II Care and Rehabilitation Center in Danbury. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Soriero.
Mrs. Soriero was born November 11, 1924 in Port Chester, New York, the daughter of the late Albert and Jeanne (Bé©dat) Roy. Originally living in Parkchester, in the Bronx, before moving to Heritage Village in Southbury in 1993, she was active in the Heritage Village Genealogy and Italian Clubs. She also enjoyed bowling and was an avid animal lover. Mrs. Soriero was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending Mass.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Mike Long of Sandy Hook and 2 grandsons, Michael and Thomas Long.
