Southbury- Jeanne Samuels, 82, of Delray Beach, FL and Southbury, CT, died September 11, 2022, at her Southbury home. Jeanne was born in Middletown, CT.  She graduated Holy Trinity High School in Hartford, CT in 1958. She worked for more than 20 years as a Tax Preparer and volunteered for many charitable organizations, including holding several Board positions on the Danbury Dialysis Fund for over a decade.

Jeanne spent 53 years married to her beloved late husband, Edward R. Samuels, living in Michigan, New Jersey and Connecticut before retiring in Delray Beach, Florida.  She enjoyed traveling all around the world including visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris, climbing the Great Wall of China and traveling to the Bahamas and other Caribbean locations.  In her retirement, she enjoyed playing golf and mahjong. In addition to her parents, Gene and Ann Aiudi, Jeanne is predeceased by her husband Edward.  She is survived by her children, Karen Samuels and Jonathan (Jennifer) Samuels, grandchildren Alexis Samuels and Zach Samuels, siblings Frank (Peg) Aiudi, Michael (Donna) Aiudi, Sandy Lazzaris, and Ronnie (Ed) Vermette.
