Jeanne Ronner O'Connor, 48, of Southbury, CT, formerly of Highland Mills, NY and New City, NY, passed away on April 3, 2012. She was the beloved daughter of Kathleen Ronner and the late William Ronner and the loving mother of Brendan and Maura O'Connor.
Jeanne was born January 25, 1964 in New York City. Her family relocated to New City, NY in 1968 where Jeanne attended Clarkstown North High School. She married Douglas O'Connor in February 1987 and moved to Woodbury, NY, where they made their home. It was at homes in Central Valley and Highland Mills where she raised her family and was an active member of the community.
She loved to entertain and cook far more than was needed. She was a lover of music, food, and people. She was accepting of all she met and had a sense of humor that put others at ease. Jeanne will be remembered for her generosity and her kind nature as she was always willing to put others before herself. She was devoted and loyal to her friends and family. Her greatest passion was her children.
Jeanne is survived by her two children, Brendan and Maura; her mother, Kathleen Ronner of Naples, FL; brother Jeffrey Ronner of Poughkeepsie, NY; sisters Janice Murphy (husband Pat) of Vestal, NY, Jane Beckley (husband Bill) of Congers, NY, and Jennifer Ronner of Naples, FL; Aunt Patricia Kenny of Riverdale, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and O'Brien cousins.

Services: A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday April 10 at 10AM at St. Augustine Church in New City, NY.

Visitation: Visiting hours will be Monday April 9 from 4-8pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY.
