Jean S. Wylie, 82, of Woodbury Hill, Woodbury, died Thursday December 18 in her home. She is the wife of Harold "Hal" H. Wylie Jr. Mrs. Wylie was born May 10, 1926 in Medford, Ma. daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Geeson) Seewald. She was a 1944 graduate of Brookline High School, Brookline, MA and received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Boston University, class of 1948. Mrs. Wylie was a member of the North Congregational Church in Woodbury for over 25 years, and was a member of the Old Historical Society. She was a former member of the Pomperaug Valley Garden Club and the Woodbury Woman's Club.
Besides her husband of 54 years of marriage, she is survived by 2 daughters, Suzanne Jenny of Woodbury, Jennifer and her husband Peter Kanefsky of Birmingham, Michigan, a brother Bruce and his wife Priscilla Seewald of Holmes Beach, FL a granddaughter Alyssa, and a former son in law Robert Jenny of Woodbury.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Monday December 22 at 11 am at the North Congregational Church, Woodbury. Burial will be held in the New North Cemetery, Woodbury.

Visitation: Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street on Saturday December 20, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm.
