Jay P. Minalgo, 43, formerly of Newtown, passed away on December 6, 2021, in San Antonio TX. He was born on March 12, 1978, to Judy (Kolh) and John Minalgo.

Along with his parents, Jay is survived by his fiancée, Maureen Parrish, his brother, Jesse Minalgo and wife, Poey, two sisters, Jody Morris and husband, Anthony, and Jamie Martinez and husband, Jesse, nephews, Jack, Luke, Blake and Zack, niece, Lucy, Aunt Linda Vitrella, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Joel Minalgo, Uncles Randy Kolh and Steve Minalgo, and his Grandparents.

Jay was a wonderful person with an infectious laugh and a huge heart. He loved his dog, Florida and the ocean, and Jay loved to cook. He would do anything for anyone and was always there to listen. Jay will be sadly missed.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 3 to 5 pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. North, Southbury.
