Mrs. Jane Wilton Duda Harvey, 63, passed away in Torrington on January 10, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jane most recently resided in Whitehall, New York after residing in both Naugatuck and Bethlehem, Connecticut.
Jane leaves her loving husband and caregiver, Guy Mike Harvey and their beloved dog Bella. She is survived by her children; James Duda and his wife Tammie, Christopher Duda and his wife Amy and Shannon Duda, all of Naugatuck. She is also survived by her brothers; David Wilton and his wife Margaret of Granville, NY and Paul Wilton and his wife Carol of Naugatuck. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Wilton of Naugatuck, formerly of Roxbury and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in-laws and friends.
Jane retired from Southbury Training School in 2003. After her retirement, she enjoyed working at the Apple Diner in Whitehall, NY, where she met many wonderful people. Jane enjoyed spending time camping with family and friends. She loved her home in Whitehall, NY, enjoying her friends and neighbors, the beauty of the area and the wildlife. She loved hosting annual family sledding parties.
Jane's family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff of Litchfield Woods in Torrington and the hospice nurses and aides from VNS in Torrington for their dedicated service.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation can be made in memory of Jane to the American Cancer Society, Meriden Executive Park, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
